Need for Role Models

“Whose marriage would you like yours to be like?” This question, posed by Baker and students in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program she directs at Forest Institute, provided the impetus for Loveseat: Love that Goes the Distance. All too often they heard couples reply, “We don’t know any.” The need for identifying couples who might serve as role models became a priority for Baker and Ozarks Marriage Matters.
